New 30'x30'x6'' slab/foundation poured 2 months ago. As most of my projects go, I'm way over budget so my intended epoxy isn't happening. This will be a full working home mechanic shop. Lift, engine hoist, trans jack, carb/brake clean/gas etc. What can I do, if anything, with a $500 budget to help protect this floor? Any suggestions other then a bigger budget?

1 gallon 4500
3 gallons 8510

Densify the concrete. Wait 7 days. 1 flood coat 8510 @ 300 Sq. Ft. per gallon. Go grab a steak and a beer with the leftover.

OR

etch the floor and do two coats of an GOOD epoxy primer. I actually have some returned I could make a very good deal on.

My biggest regret on my old garage was not putting epoxy on the ground. Oil etc still marked the concrete and didn't just wipe off. Maybe I didn't get the Ghostshield down right but I wished i was working on epoxy, not concrete. I would have even preferred paint. Ive moved house since...
