OK guys, it took a while but I know several of the deals that are coming up (or already here). This week was the E Torx socket set shown here:

E Torx Socket set

This coming week will be the angle wrenches (SAE or Metric) shown here:

SAE 4 Way Angle Wrenches
Metric 4 Way Angle Wrenches

I can't remember them all (hope to get an email about them) but some of the others were:

Double Square sockets
Pipe plug sockets
Torx screwdrivers
Long 1/2" drive flex ratchet
Various socket sets

I got the E Torx today and will be picking up the angle wrenches tomorrow but thought you guys might want to ask your dealer about these if you are needing any of them. I hope to get a list of everything that is coming out tomorrow at lunch and will update this post if I get it.

Why don't they run the special online? Us without a dealer have no other options?

Do all dealers do this or is it up to the individual dealer to choose whether he wants to offer them?

Not all dealers are getting the $99 wrench sets. That's what my dealer told me and asked me not to mention it here but the cat's out of the bag now!

I had him put a Metric and SAE set in my name

He had like 5 sets of Etorx today but I didn't ask about them. Just texted him about the price, if they are 99 I'm getting him to hold me one.

I'd love to have a 1/2" long flex head ratchet for $100. Too bad I don't have a dealer anymore. I also wish they would do sales online.

They had limited amounts to each dealer (5 sets of each) and the dealer had to commit to the ENTIRE package. Not every dealer wanted the deal and even then, they had limited amounts in each region. Some of the dealers wanted the package but they lost out due to the limit that was set in their area.

By the way, another that I remembered was the heavy duty, gold colored torx bits....

That's what he told me. Must have been a real limited deal.
He mentioned it to me and I had him sign me up for both sets. I just texted him for the E-torx set too. He had 5 on the truck but I didn't bother asking because I figured they would be a couple hundred. Glad I saw this thread.
I just spent $300 in 2 text messages with my dealer!

Hmmmm, In that case everyone here needs to forget they saw this thread.

In fact you are getting VERY sleepy, look at the watch, see how it twists and turns, you are getting sleepier and sleepier....

If you happen to see new tools in my box, I paid full list price for them. Repeat after me, "There are no deals with Snap-on", "There are no deals with Snap-on", "There are no deals with Snap-on", "There are no deals with Snap-on", ...........

When you hear me snap my fingers you will wake up and forget this thread but will remember that Snap-on never gives a discount and that you do not want any special deals from them.

Really wish the dealer would contact me from the online form I filled out. I guess I'm gonna have to ask around at the tire shop I use. I'd be spending $300 real quick to.

Thanks guys. I had a buddy call his snappy guy and I got the sae and metric sets coming, I will get them next Thursday. But he said that the only deal he had on ratchets was the one to get all 3 for $3xx something.

Here in Los Angeles, truck guy has not heard of this deal. In the recent past though he was unaware of the 3 flex ratchets for $300 until I pointed it out.

OK guys, here is the list that I know of on the special. Again, note that this was not available to all dealers or regions and even in a region where they were available, they had limited numbers of these available so some dealers might have wanted them but could not get them.

There are deals other than those listed below but this list should get you guys started. Hopefully someone else can help fill in the gaps. bear in mind that most dealers will probably hide several of these for their best customers. I know I would....

By the way, I like my new metric and SAE angle head wrenches.....:)

SHLF80 1/2 long flex head comfort handle ratchet

315IMMYA Impact sockets, shallow, metric 1/2" drive 6 point (15 pcs) 10mm to 24mm

FHX80 3/8" drive, locking, flex head, comfort handle ratchet.

209EFTXBY T15 to T55 Torx socket driver set, Heavy Duty (gold ones) 9 pcs.

206AFX 3/8" drive, 6 pc, extension set (friction ball)

207EFTXYSE 3/8" drive, Torx socket driver, stubby, 7 pcs

305ASX 1/2" drive, 5 pc, extension set (friction ball)

TSSKIT 1/2" and 3/8" drive triple square sockets, metric set, 6 pcs

211PPPMY Pipe Plug socket set internal/external 3/16" to 3/8" (11 pcs)

103UFTS 3 pc chrome universal set, 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drive sizes

209TFSMYA 3/8" drive metric twist sockets (bolt remover sockets) 9 pcs, 10mm to 19mm

SGRHT6BR Soft grip, 6 pc, radiator hose pick

You guys would have been proud of Makgreens today....He resisted temptation and left the truck with a TPMS torque tool as his only purchase.....

What's strange is that he kept petting the prybars and telling them he would be back soon.......:)

I tried to buy the wrenches.... called my dealer last week on them, said he would hold a set, but never showed this week. I have 90% of the metric set all ready, and really did want a set for home.

Do you have to get this through a dealer? Does Snap-on not include its internet customers in this? I would like the 1/2 ratchet.
