Ok guys and gals...somebody please buy this compressor. I have lowered the price to $1549. Free standard shipping to lower 48. If you need liftgate, it would be $75.

I can't believe that this thing still hasn't sold. Not really a "Garage" air compressor, but great for mobile applications. Just dropped the price to $1459.

Could this be used in conjunction with a larger tank to paint with? I'm stuck without 220 for the foreseeable future but have some high cfm projects to do.

If your air demand is around 14 CFM, you should be ok. Depending on your tank size, it may help cool the air a bit so it doesn't carry as much moisture to the air lines. Some people get these and use them for spraying applications.

I don't need a portable unit but my shop needs a real compressor. What do you recommend so I can run a tire machine and high demand air tools like cut off/grinder tools and surface prep die grinders?

Is it just you or do you have more people using air? If it is just you, I think you could get by with a "Real" 5 HP unit, something around 18 CFM. We have a bunch in that range. Send me an e-mail at [email protected] with the answer for my question above and where you are located and I'd be glad to give you some options.
