9k 4 Post Recommendations

Looking to purchase a 4 post lift lift that will mostly be used for general car/SUB maintenance. A 1-ton Duramax may get lifted up on it a few times a year, but the main use case will be maintenance on "normal"/classic cars.

I've been doing a decent bit of research, most seem extremely similar. Given the list below, can anyone provide any recommendations on one vs the other. I don't mind paying extra for a better lift. I'd rather pay 1k more today and get a better overall lift, than wish I did in the future.

I was looking at an Advantage before they went belly up, the Wildfire seems pretty close to it and is the only one in this list with a substantially different post design, not sure if that design vs the others is advantageous or just cheaper to make and they market it as more robust. Hard to tell now, everyone says their stuff is the best...

Things that are important to me are:

• Long/Wide lift.
  • Garage has plenty of space.
• Ability to move(casters available)
• Material Robustness
• Parts/support availability
• Voltage is not a concern

Lifts on my list:

• Challenger CL4P9W
• Forward EFP9
• Atlas Apex 9
• BendPak HD-9EWT
• Wildfire 9000 XLT

I’ve had my Advantage for several years with no issues. For me, it was between Advantage and Wildfire. Came down to availability. I spoke with both.

For what it’s worth, the Wildfire rep said his lifts had an extra support under the ramps welded in. I can’t verify that, though.

I have a BendPak, and it has been great. The one that I presently have is the HD9XL with the rolling jack. What I like most about BendPak is the service, should I ever need a part. They are a well-established company that has been around for decades. This is my second BendPak lift, and I found that it was quite easy to assemble.

I've had my BP HD14XLT with two 7K rolling jacks for 16 years...never a problem.

The Forward EFP9 / DirectLift Pro Park 9 Plus is a solid choice. Benefits over some of the others: cables route to the CL of the columns and are therefore tucked into the columns, lock linkages are tucked into the beams with covers over them, and of course, adjustable lock ladders.

I have to agree with @racecougar , I have the EFP9, it's well built and it easily accommodates my Suburban, long bed pickups and even my Miata.
