Looking for a basic mini boiler, my current Seisco is toasted. Needs to have the utility interrupt feature. I have done some looking around and the choices seem limited?

TIA!

Thanks, looking hard at the Electro. They are made about 10 miles from me. Doesn't look like they do direct to consumer sales though. I will call them on Monday

I don't know brands any that sell to the public, you will find a friendly dealer.

Menards probably has one they sell, not sure of the quality.

I just picked up a Hydro Shark 3 12kw from Menards for $950 bucks. I am hoping it is the same as the Hydro Shark 3's I saw listed on other sites for 1500 or so bucks.....

They also had a 9KW unit available.

I received my boiler yesterday and can confirm it is the Hydro Shark 3 12kw unit. I'd grab one before Menards realizes everyone else is charging 1500 for them!!

After getting two ridiculous quotes from local contractors. I ordered a Electro industries 9KW unit on the net and they are will calling it at the factory which is near me, I don't think the hydro shark units have the utility interrupt I need for off peak power pricing of .06/KWH. Its really just a contact closure, so I could have probably used it on the Tstat of a Shark, but I really needed a 9KW unit, since the wiring would be very difficult to change.

Ordered the Electro Industries EMB-S-9 unit from houseneeds.com. They were able to will call it at the factory for me. They are made here in Minnesota in a town called Monticello about 40 miles NW of Minneapolis. I picked it up on Monday and installed it on Tuesday. The unit is very solid and well made. Demoed out the old unit, did some plumbing and wiring, filled and bled the system, and it was running inside of 6 hours. Utility management was invoked yesterday, and everything worked as expected. So I figured I saved about 2k doing it myself, wife says she is going to add it to my stereo fund, that's a win win!
