Well the hours and minutes are being counted at this point, but still time (for some) to get theirs today! I think most if not all are at the mercy of the shipping companies at this point!

We are down to just six SS's that have not reported having shipped theirs, many of these were "cleared" by the recipients reporting they received their package.

A number of shipments were reported MIA in transit, but all but one were reported found; one is still MIA as AFAIK based on reported!

Monte - your post confused me: Did you mean received in December? or is Germany on a different Calendar? xmas

I know a couple SS's have reported shipments are delayed due to awaiting arrival by the SS to re-sip either, wholly or partially; so those will be late.

Five were reported by the SS as delivered, but the recipients have not confirmed -the recipients:

TK-421
Derek420
chrismenke
egnorant
Benw455

And 25 are still awaiting their SS gift; I've included the six victims where their SS has not yet reported it was shipped:

My box finally arrived. Don't have a photo of it as I don't have a tree to put it under, and I'm tired from a long day of work, but I'll try to get a picture of it tomorrow when I open it.

I shipped to my victim on Monday. Tracking says that it is scheduled to arrive today. However, the scan history tells a different story. The package made an unexpected stop, this morning, less than halfway to it's destination! Assuming no further delays, my victim should receive the package on Saturday.

Tracking shows that my victim's package was delivered today at 11:36 am.

Received mine yesterday! We also celebrated Christmas today so I may have just opened it up while we were doing gifts. I'll be back on tomorrow to post up a picture of the contents.

Also can't get the tree picture to upload, so will have to wait until I'm back on wifi tomorrow.

Merry Christmas / Happy holidays/Hanukkah/Festivus/etc. to all!

Merry Christmas GJ!
This is what I received from the great ArticSilber323. He somehow knew I've been looking for some side cutters.

Well I got to open my secret Santa gift and I was really blown away by what was inside!!!

It was very well thought out! I really liked everything that was included, especially the vintage eye glass cleaner dispenser with some original product inside and the vintage GM polishing cloth tin. These are items I would have bought for myself if I had ran across them :)

I also got a 6-1 screwdriver from the Harry Epstein Company, My first ever Harry Epstein tool.

I got a Snap-On screwdriver, also the first ever Snap-on tool in DaBarn.

Bluebolt must have checked out my thread really close! He also got me some root beer flavored Dum Dum suckers and some Louisiana locally grown pecans.

Also included was a vintage Mr Goodwrench note pad and a really nice letter explaining all about the items included in my package and how Bluebolt acquired them (a really nice touch).

Thanks to Bluebolt and The Garage Journal for doing the secret Santa thread!!! Just awesome!!!

Merry Christmas to all xmas

Wow! Blown94conv, you did an excellent job! I am blown away by what is inside, a T-shirt, a really cool plastic pink mug, a Snap On power pack (will get used greatly), and a flex head extra long 1/4" drive Snap On ratchet. Like i said before, i am sure this gentleman is a Snap On dealer. I am very grateful. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and happy Holidays!

We opened our gift finally here at my house!

I got some trigger clamps, can't have enough of these!
Some 1/4" drive bits and drill bits, was just looking at some of these and glad I didn't buy any!
Got a really cool flash light that converts from a hand held unit to a stand up unit that shines from the side, this will come in handy for sure as I venture into home repairs at the new house!
I got some screws out bit which will save me some headaches with stripped screws!
I got some items from Roswell, NM home of the alien landings, I told the wife I'm not sure what to expect coming from Roswell the package might start flying on us! So I had to tell her about Roswell cause I'm originally from West Texas and she's born and raised here in PA.
I can't wait to use the green chili also, I've missed my roasted green chili like crazy since I've moved to PA!!!

Thank you Turnpike Cruiser!! My youngest daughter love my flashlight you sent me, she been taking it into her tent she got for Christmas all morning lol!!

Kunkerator, nope, not a dealer. Just have a really good relationship with my local guy.

He let me use his shipping account to make sure they would get to you in time, the discount they get on shipping is silly. 2nd day air for less then $10.

Glad you liked them, Merry Christmas!

I got Romanova, and he did a awesome job! The bottle opener will be put to good use, right around dinner time, the vintage wrenches are just cool, thinking about all the times the must have been used in the past to make repairs is inspiring, jerky always rocks until it gets warm enough to do a little grilling with a new flavor. And a gift card works out perfectly, I was going to have to head there tomorrow to get some accessories for a gift the wife got me. And speaking of, she liked the towels, thought that it was very nice as well!

Merry Christmas!

I just got to open my present from my GJSS anndel. My SS really did an awesome job with the gifts. I been wanting a brass hammer for a while. The best part is it's made in the USA. Those Knipex wire strippers are really well made. Nothing beats Knipex! Already have a project to use them on. Going to be installing my headache rack with lights on my new truck!
Thanks again!
Merry Christmas!
You're only about a half hour from where my brother inlaw lives! Beautiful place to live!

Sitting back enjoying a cup of joe it's time for me to join the fun.

A big thanks to stg454 who sent me a box full of happy stuff. The bottle opener is perfect as mine recently gave up after years of service, i think the little flex light is awesome and will put it to good use along with the pick set. I squeezed the the gloves on and we couldn't help but laugh at how much they stretch out over these big mits lol. They are super grippy and will be perfect for grabbing ahold of those slippery filter. The Snap On FK936 stubby ratchet is totally amazing and I keep playing with it 😀 It's my first snappy ratchet and will find a great home with the rest of the stubbys.

My SS also includes nice little letter wishing the lot of us a Merry Christmas and happy new year. Thank you so much for the thoughtful gift. May the spirit of Christmas be with you, your family, friends and everyone here as well.

My secret santa did an awesome job this year, I was blown away, and everything was perfect.

I got a really big mug showing Massachusetts, which will go great for my mug collection.

A vaseline/depression glass bowl, which will go great towards my vaseline/depression glass collection, and I've been needing a candy dish. I just could never find one that I thought would be the right size as I was having problems taking the dimensions someone would list and then turning that into an image in my head about how big it'd be. Well, now I don't have to worry about that, because this one is exactly the size I wanted it to be. I've got it sitting on my desk right now just waiting to get filled up with candy, which I'll have to get when I get to the store tomorrow.

Finally I got some quality ratchets, which I've been desperately needing, plus the fact I don't have a 1/2 ratchet at all, so my impacts were the only way to drive my 1/2 sockets.

Super cool secret santa, did an awesome job picking stuff out.

Big shout out to AnthonyJ124 for being my secret santa and doing such a great job of picking stuff out for me. Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Next time you're in my area, I'll get you your drink of choice.

Neonlazer must have looked right at my ongoing Amazon cart when he got this VIM bit ratchet. I have a great spot on my bench in mind for the Trusty Cook magnet also. There's a keychain flashlight, and a can't miss Amazon gift card. Thank you Neonlazer, and happy holidays to you and yours.

Big thank you to vbwiley92 for doing a fantastic job of picking out some perfect items. You did an excellent job in your research and everything will be extremely useful. If I remember right, I think this was your first year participating in the GJSS. Well done.

I received...

A nice hand written note

Tig Finger sold by Jody at Welding Tips and Tricks - These work great, and you can never have too many around. Without Jody's videos, I would have never had the confidence to begin welding, and I think what his channel has done for (especially beginner) welders, is really profound. It's great to see the support for what he does.

Wera Kraftform Kompakt Screwdriver - This gift is really clever, especially because I received a different Wera screwdriver set years ago for a GJSS (I think it was my first year). I've had this screwdriver on my ebay watch list since then, but just never ended up making the purchase. The original set is my go to set, and these handles are perfect. It's clever how the bits are stored under the pop-up handle and the shank can be set at different lengths or removed.

Valve Stem Caps/Keychain - Being a DSM/Mitsubishi guy, these are great and the keychain is a nice touch.

Once again, thanks again and Merry Christmas!

Well,

Opened my GJSS box this am:} S.P. Z very good job I know I was not specific in my wish list as I was afraid someone would turn it into a shopping list again :}
The Extensions and Ratchet along with the speed handle and tread gauge will be out in the big shop before the end of the day :} I have been slowly doubling up tools out there since I do not want to have to walk back and forth and these are a big jump ahead thank you :}

The drill grinder will be staying in by the machines in the small shop It will be fun to get it set up and save me some bucks on drill bits :} Nice vintage too so much the better . The arbor attachment I have not decided where It will live yet :}

I have never seen these KitKats nor heard of them had one with my coffee :} I am going to have to share these with my daughters when they show up later today :}

I have to say that my SS did an AMAZING job. He got not only me a gift, but also my wife, children, & the dogs!

Busy bone for the dogs (they love this kind), a movie the kids have been wanting, and a bottle of wine for the wife (she needs it, I have 5 days off for Christmas), and for me he sent a Lamborghini flag, a Tony Stewart Nascar flag, a Kreg jig, a Craftsman bag, and an awesome Williams 1 7/8 12point socket, that was made in the USA.

There was also a handwritten card, that showed how much time and effort he put into researching my gifts, RStewart you did awesome!.
