My 20 year old garage door was so rusted on the bottom that it finally collapsed on the bottom. I measured the door and it's 9 feet wide and 7 feet 6 inches tall. Do they sell this door? I looked on Menards and Home Depot and they only sell a 9x7. Or are the 9x7 really 6 inches taller?

That size will be available thru any Door Co. Not something you can pull off the shelf at HD or the like. Altho they should be able to order it for you. get a few different qoutes, you might be surprised. Good luck..

So I ended up going with a place in the Milwaukee area Lifetime Garage Doors. It was $525 for the door, rails, spring, spring bar, hardware and the door. Each panel was at 18" tall each to get the 7' and 6" that K'ledgeBldr pointed out. Other than the price the Home Depot custom didn't come with a Lifetime warranty on the door, paint and hardware and the insulation is a R-9.4 value compared to the 6-something. So I paid out more but I think in the long run it will last me the rest of the time I'm here. Now I'm just worried about the 16' door. Very little rust, jeez.
