I did do a search using the term "Paint Booth" and didn't get much info back in return. So putting it out there and asking the question....Do you have one in your building and how were you able to fit it in. I am always painting items in the shop, but getting tired of the overspray getting all over everything. with a booth/room I think this would help contain all the overspray and dust which would allow me to keep the remaining part of the building and the things in it cleaner. Thoughts and any photos would be great!

Paint Booth is a Must for most Hobbiest! If you have the area?I'm putting one in a Area 12'X28' for sanding/painting various items/Cars,Put a furnace Filter in one end, then Box fan(window) for exhaust in the other. They do take alot of Air /Heat out of the Shop,so make a seperate window a/c/heat?Going to just use Roof Tin(I got for free) for walls, ceiling,to blow off/wash down before doing a Vinyl paint job looks neat to do.Then when empty I could park my trailer/vehicle in there.Good Luck!

You should be very concerned about fire and explosion. Do not use non-explosion proof fixtures, fans, and switches if you don't know how to avoid burning yourself. Burning down your shop and spending time in a hospital burn unit diminishes the enjoyment of your hobby.

It depends on how big you need. We built a portable downdraft booth on wheels for a robot work cell. It's also the perfect size for most random stuff that needs to be sprayed.

The overspray arrestor material can be purchased from a number of online sources.

Good point on the explosion proof switches and light fixtures. As far as the size, will be painting full sized vehicles and smaller items to. Will also need to use the space while not being used for painting duties.
