Hello from (mostly always) sunny Florida.
I have read several posts on The Garage Journal before; just have never posted.
My new project (that I will go into more discussion in a follow-up post) involves building a new stand-alone garage with a two-post lift so I can work on my Jeep (LS engine swap).
I actually have an attached three-car garage, but with a wife, two kids, woodworking and welding tools/equipment, and having lived there for 23 years, it's more like a storage unit. Although I try to control the clutter, moving things around only goes so far. Parking a car, much less working on one, in the garage is out of the question.
I hope that I can learn much more from the forum as well as be a contributor.
