What is a car guy's nightmare. Well you find the property of your dream's and the house has no garage because it was converted by the previous owner to be part of the den. What to do ????
Well lets build a BIGGER garage than the house had in the first place !!!!
This is my electrician's home and one of my most recent garage addition designs staying with the hip style roof and 1950's style.
Here's a Long Island 1950's split that had a one car garage. We've added a front two car garage with rear storage room down the side. Brick veneer has been added to the whole addition. Inside there is an Epoxy floor, quality insulated garage doors, high hats, central vaccume, Tv, some nice cabinets have been added along with a hung gas heater.
The owner has built himself a nice tool rack here on the wall. The wall hides a support column that holds up the 2nd story front wall of the home. The door provides access to the storage room.
Funny thing is he isn't even a car guy and the project just started to get bigger and better.
