saw a thread the other day from a guy who just bought a tire rack (but can't find it now) and while some people were ragging on him for spending $130 or so on the purchase price, others posted up pics of some that they had built. Here's mine: I have about $40 in it - 2 pieces of 1 3/4 conduit from Home Depot at $11.20 ea and one piece of superstrut at about $15. I didn't count the pieces of 2 x 4 as I had those lying around but if you had to buy would be another $4-5. couldn't be much easier to make and its 10 feet long so will hold a couple of sets of tires.

Looks good. Nice and simple

I actually just made two from the ladder rack that was on a utility bed that I bought for my truck. I already made a ladder rack, so I didnt need it. Used the same mounts and all right to the wall. Only mods were a hole for a chain to triangulate it, and two bars on each one had to be bent 90*.
