I really have done nothing but avoid Chinese stuff. Taiwan is acceptable if need be because no one makes it in the USA, Germany, or Japan. Unfortunately, some things you cannot avoid. My case is not some Milwaukee wonder electric tool. It is a Husky 12v inflator. I am pretty sure I got it during a low point in a Lowe’s parking lot so as to not be stranded with a quickly leaking tire. Doubt I paid more than $25 dollars for it 10 years ago. I just topped off 8 tires with it today…It is loud, makes the occasional noise that sounds like it is about to blow, and the gauge is so frosted you can only see 10 psi increments well. However, I respect the hell out of it…when it finally dies a tear may just leak out.
After the 8 tires the tube part was so hot I could have burned myself.
