A Craftsman wattzit fer?

Well my brother just sent me these photos. He cleared a whole table at an estate sale sat. For $7.50 and this was in with the good and the bad.
The # on the casting is 25415-103.
I've only seen the pic's so I don't know if that's a J-taper on the top.
Maybe a drill press mounted margarita mixer?

It looks to me whatever it cuts must already have a hole in it,or could it be a sort of planer to use with a fence?

Looks like Craftsman's version of a "safety planer".

What you've got there is a rotary planer attachment for a drill press.

It was made by King-Seeley sometime before 1964...

Seems like it would be tedious using that to plane wood? Interesting though.

Its point is that it allows you to plane with only a drill press, not that it is the best way to plane. It was from the era when power tools were expensive and people were cheap...cheap here meaning both that people were frugal and that extra labor was often a very possible solution when the cost of the best tool was prohibitive.

Those look like they came from wilton I believe they are used for removing broken taps.

thanks guys , that's what i feared it was , scary thought i don't think i will give it a test run , enough missing limbs in this family...good conversation piece tho lol ,
