I have a 1/2 snapon click type I got from my grandfather but it's lowest setting I think is 30 ft/lbs I want to get something for to cover the 0-30 I can't get to for working on my 4-wheelers. Can anyone recommend a good one that I won't go broke buying?

Check Amazon for CDI. They're a Snap on company. They have one that starts at 5 ft. lb.

Precision instruments or CDI

And you might want to have that 1/2" tq wrench you have now checked / and or calibrated..
Micrometer style wrenches do not like to be left set at anything above zero for days at a time. Then tend to start reading light. (click dictating your at the set tq, but really many ftlb light) Since you don't know the use history...send it in of find a tool truck with a tq load cell.

I was all set to give you a good torque wrench that was made in the USA but alas the lowest setting is 50lbs on their 1/2 model. (not sure how low the 3/8 model goes down to but it is also made in the USA).

If you ever are in Home Depot check them out, the 1/4 model is not made in the USA so be careful on that one.

3rd the CDI stuff. What you really want is an inch-lb wrench with a range of 30 to 250ish, that will cover the lower end of the ft/lb range for you.
ft/lbs x 12 = inch lbs, 20ft/lbs = 240in/lbs

Yeah I was thinking of getting it calibrated I have always kept it at 0. Is it something they can do on the truck right away or do they have to take it?

Depends on the tool guy. Some have a tq checker (it's about $1,200 or more investment for a decent digital one) some will send it in

You can mail it in yourself. Google Angle Repair in Beckley, WV. They've been around for years.

I just purchased a Precision Instruments 3/8" drive Flex-head clicker #M2FR100FX with 15-100 ft. lb range, has 3% accuracy figure and is made in the USA, including case. Around $130 shipped and I'm very happy with the tool. They also make a nice clicker 3/8" drive wrench w/ inch pound range, M2R200HX 30-200 inch pounds (equivalent to 2.5 - 16.67 ft.lbs.) my next purchase....;) I looked at everything on the market before purchasing although in the end, PI was my choice.

I have a 3/8" drive Snap-on that covers 20-100 ft/lb, a 1/2" drive that covers 50-250 ft/lb, and a 3/4" drive that covers 200-600 ft/lbs and these are all micrometer adjustable clicker WITHOUT a reverse lever (takes a special torque wrench for left hand torquing).

I also have a 1/4" drive Snap-on that covers 0-75 in/lbs, then a 3/8" drive that covers 0-25 ft/lb, and a 3/8" drive that covers 0-150 in/lbs and these are all torqometer (dial type).
