Hello, Kinda new at this, I've found a great use for the Scissor jack. Get a piece of 3/4 or 1" plywood around a foot or so wide, 2 or 2 1/2 long. Three bolts one 2"x 3/8, 2- 1 1/2" x 3/8, 3 nuts and washers as you see you need them. 1 piece of 2x4 or 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 . Drill thru the 2 by then drill a counter sink about 1/2". Bolt that to the top of the jack so that it can swivel some. Then bolt it to one end of the board. On the end close to you you can put just anything on it to act as a handle. Now for the guy that does a bit of Timing belts on FWD cars you can slip it under the car and position it to whatever and now you wont have a bad time with the jack flopping around when you raise it to the motor. Drill a size-able hole on one end so as to hang it on your wall. First time I remember seeing one of these original jacks was on a Maverick, a few years ago....
