Not driving an amazing car is automative cruelty and should be legal basis to have them taken away and given to people who will properly appreciate them:evil:

The same should apply to the buffoons who buy cars that they can't PROPERLY drive...

This picture is great because Jay Leno is helping him fix his car. He's a collector that's also a gearhead.

I don't care what you say about the guy, anybody who can get Jay Leno as a ride along mechanic is just fine! I have to admire the guy for driving his cars, while these are a form of art. They are not like a painting, they are meant to be used.

If you buy a car, boat or plane just to look at it something is wrong IMHO, regardless of its value.

This guy was on My Classic Car with Dennis Gage last week. These cars are in an unground parking garage with a large automatic door that separates it from the rest of the parking area that other office workers park in. He probably owns the entire building. They took the Enzo out for a drive and he claims he drives all of the cars that he has. He seemed like a down to earth guy :dunno:

That's not a garage it's a storage facility. Has no place on this forum. This should be on the storage facility journal.

Don't get me wrong the guy who owns this storage area might be a great person, I don't know him so I can't really say. There is also nothing wrong with having cars you want in a storage facility. It's his money he can do what he wants. This is just not a garage.

While I'm unlikely to ever buy an investment grade car that can't be driven without worrying about reducing its value I'm glad that there are people who do. I feel the same way about trailer queen show cars of any type. I don't want another car where I have to fuss about it getting dirty or dinged I really enjoy looking at them and appreciate the time, effort an money that's needed to maintain one.

No different than the guys here that take an old Craftsman machine and restore it to beauty. I hope they use them, though. Nothing wrong with a trophy. In the case of the trophy wife, well she don't last forever. Go out to the garage and you won't see any aging wrinkles on that trophy car.

Nice, but I couldn't even begin to afford the insurance on those.

The truth about insurance for cars you never drive, is that it's unbelievably cheap, and most good (and cheap) policies have zero deductibles.

Jesus, lack of money brings out pettiness, I guess. The guy has cars people dream about. Good for him! They're stored in a blank room, there's strike two! He probably doesn't change his own tires - steeerike three.

C'mon fellas. There are all types here on the journal, from millionaires to those without two nickels to rub together. I, for one, would welcome any guest with a stable as such, and I'm not a Ferrari guy, per se. Although I'd take one over many of the other competitors.
