Honestly, I don't know how I ever lived without my MIG welder.

This is a wagon I built for hauling parts out of junk yards and swap meets. I started with a Radio Flyer ATW (deep tub) kit, drilled out the spot-welds to remove the axles, then welded up the holes. I used 1/8" steel and angle iron to beef up the frame and build a 1" lift. I also used 3/16" c-channel for a backbone. 1/2" solid steel axles were added, then professional karting rain tires and wheels and hubs. Check out that ground clearance!

Thanks. I get lots of comments at the swap meets. The karting guys all recognize the tires right away.

Here's another MIG project...why pay $60 for head porting stands when a few bucks of angle iron is much cheaper?

Sweet looking wagon.

I made this one a couple years ago. Need to rebuild it this winter.

2 flyers welded together with angle and flat stock to make a new frame. Then vintage aircraft extinguisher wheels on the independent rear set-up. Then engine valve springs for front suspension.

With the rebuild I'm going to use hiem joints for the rear axles. The current set-up allows too much flex of the side beams. The tires have worn on the inside. Also thinking of a gocart front set-up.
