Well, i am rather impressed with the local snap on man here.

i have talked to him before when on his truck with my father just to admire things but up till now thats been all the dealings ive had with him.

well, i took my old 1/2" drive impact wrench and my puller that needed new jaws, pressure screw, yoke.

he ordered my parts for the puller, and told me to try the snap on synthetic oil in the gun till he came back in two weeks. so i did that and well it never got no better after working it taking off wheels and putting them on and letting it soak with more of that oil. It didn't seem to help any at all.

so yesterday at work he shows up with my puller parts and i told him that he would have to send in the impact, no problem. the impact wrench is a old one and will have to be discontinued so it will be a couple of weeks before i get my half off and new gun. He told me that i should get the i think MG725 wrench, it is the super duty one that is compareable to my old one.

so my bill will be $330.00 all said in done, because i had him get me a longer set of jaws for my puller he was out of and those were $80 on top of my $250 for the new impact when it comes in.

i feel he treated my fairly, and didn't give me no grief about the warranty stuff that i brought him as my first real dealings with him.

just wanted to share that with you guys.im quite happy. so far lol

People ***** up and down about what SO cost, but that price buys you service and any tool truck dealer worth is salt knows a thing about customer service. Face to face service, not emailing is how I like to deal.

well, i like to say there prices are out there. but i also know im going to pay when i step on that truck, so if i want it bad enough i pay for it just like anywhere else.

i will usually get snap on second hand and be happy, but now i have a option to get it new and it comes to me if i need it. he also knows that me and my boss won't be buying every time he shows but if there is a good deal on something or we happned to need a item he will get the buisness.

i don't have the money but i wish i could afford a whole set of snap on wrenches, or at least a few of the larger sizes. i might buy some impact sockets from him if the right deal comes up or i just feel like spending the money.

also will be waiting till he stops so i can get my jaw replaced for my puller, he gave me the other two ordered and one is not the same and needs to be replaced.
