A HUGE thank you to daveblank

I found an tool on CL a long ways away, one that I didn't feel comfortable buying without someone giving it a look over. I posted looking for someone in that area, and daveblank was generous enough to take the time to go look at it, actually buy it, and ship it to me! I got him paid, and its on its way to me.

The group of guys here (well, the majority of them, lol) are awesome! I've found a fountain of knowledge, some great ideas, and some avenues to things I never had before.

Thanks to the originators of this site, the members, and especially daveblank! If there is anything I can do for anyone that involves the middle of Iowa, I'm more than willing!

I think the value of online community and brotherhood cannot be understated. Common interests brought together this way is a wonderful thing to see. This whole board has cost me thousands of dollars that I would not have spent otherwise. But, we are all like-minded and know the feeling of getting a good deal on an optimal tool and the priceless satisfaction that comes with that.

I have been looking for a certain model good used Fluke multimeter, didn't see anything on ebay that impressed me. I scoured CL and found one that sounded good. But, unlike a hard tool, electronic items are a crapshoot unless you can see it and try it. So, when you can't physically do that....you have to go to plan "B"

What model Fluke is it? Being a meter ***** myself I have a few Flukes...my father was an Electrical Engineer, so its in my DNA. Oh an props to DaveBlank for going that extra mile for a fellow tool lover.
