A Little Gun-related Fab Project

I've got a Dillon reloading press that I want to get up off the bench, and I see that Dillon has a stand that they sell (see first pic). I decided rather than pay the $64 they sell them for - and believe me, that's not a bad price considering the time I spent building one - that I'd just knock one out this weekend using some 16 ga sheet I had in the shop. A little plasma cutting, a little bending, a little welding, a little black wrinkle finish paint, and I figure my time worked out to about $8 an hour lol.

Oh well, it's done -

Thanks! I don't own the original, I just designed mine based on the pic on their website.

Yeah, you know, I've discovered that the most valuable thing I possess is time, so a lot more lately I've been just buying products that I previously would have spent time making. But I've been doing that so often now, I got to where I just wasn't making anything anymore - and I just felt the need to create something.

The paint is just Plasti-Coat spray bomb wrinkle black. Works pretty well.
