I recently purchased some bolt bins, partially filled with hardware. The seller was a car guy, so I think these are auto related. I'm going to sell these, but first I want to determine their purpose, and ultimately their worth. Obviously they are tubing fittings, but are they air or fluid? Some appear to have the ability for quick connect. Most seem to be sized for 1/4 inch o.d. tubing. The metal appears to be stainless. Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance...

They look like air line or vacuum line fittings to me. Not Prestolok, but something like that.

Those look like fittings that are sometimes used for water methanol injection systems. They are really "air" fittings, but I'm guessing wmi is why a car guy had a whole assortment

here's a pic of one of the nozzle holders and solenoid from the meth system that I installed a couple weekends ago on my car. Most of them use 1/4" pushlock hose and fittings like the stuff you have

Do an image search on push lock fitting and you will come up with a lot of varieties. Common pneumatic fitting and lots of manufactures and vendors.

Those look like the air fittings used on funny cars and top fuel cars for clutch management, and for air shifting on alcohol cars.

The seller could have been full of BS, but he said one particular elbow was worth about $35. He was selling all of his car stuff and moving out-of-state, he just was looking to get rid of stuff...

They are tubing fittings. Some are Parker, some are Hannifin and the push lock I don't know the maker.
