I made that same handle for my tool box (1 1/4) for about 9 dollars. Mine isn't Snap-On but I bet it last just as long. 500 dollars?? He must be out of his freaking mind

It might be just an artifact in the picture, but it appears to have a few rust spots.

For a $500 item, the pictures are pretty poor: bad focus, lighting and background. The welds and finish should be perfect, but you can't tell anything from what is shown.

All of the seller's previous items have been Disney trinkets, sold around March (winter trip to Florida, eh?), so there isn't any history here.

I don't know why you think the price is to much. Look at some the worlds art and the prices it brings. You have people here that spend good money to make a fridge look like a tool box, why not spend for a door pull? I agree that most anyone here that has a door worthy of that door pull could make it them selves, however it only takes one that is more willing to buy than build to make this seller a happy man.

And so-called art is in the eye of the beholder. Just because a bunch of rich morons want to dump a mountainful of money on something a 1st-grader could finger paint doesn't make it art, and doesn't make it worth the money, anymore than welding a couple sockets on a wrench make it worth twice the retail price.

Those big wrenches go cheap at Flea markets. Bought a 1 5/8 Mac double angle open end for 6 dollars, Got the guy down from 10.
