We didn't intend to but sorta flipped out house for a pretty penny and upgraded so daddy goes from a 18x22 footer to a 27x22 foot DETACHED garage.

I'm STOKED beyond measure. It's gutted. We close on the new casa on the 27th. Here's pics of it in its 1980's neglected form.

The wifey already knows at least a grand is gonna be set aside for the new mancave. I need to rewire it, insulate it, sheet rock it, and build a broom closet. That's all I have so far.

Anybody have any good ideas on firewalling/fireproofing the breezeway?

A perfect project. Looks roomy and should be a great shop. You are fortunate you can design anything you like, and just go with it. I think you did well in buying it!!

Best Regards

Looks like a great place to start with. What kind of projects do you like to work on? Good luck with what ever you choose.

I'm a car guy so thats the them. I'll finally have enough space and a garage with no lip so I can store important tools like hoists and ****** jacks. Maybe even a nice mig.

I've a long way to go but here is what I have planned so far. Insulation, sheetrock, attic ladder, some nice lighting, and a broom closet with a work bench near it. That is after I rewire the whole thing cause nothing works currently.

Excellent blank canvas! Congrats on the sale and the new acquisition. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you will be spending over a grand :)
