Who actually makes this? I need a new up light, but can't ever bring myself to pay Matco prices when you can almost always buy their products from the Oem for a fraction of the price.

That part number was in a sale bulletin a while back: Matco #08 APRIL 14 - MAY 6, 2012, not exactly new.

I don't know the OEM.

Streamlight has a new rechargeable UV light also. It's the same as a Stylus Pro USB so it's very portable if you use a lot or for quick inspections. It's right around $50.

I have that model # light but mine is red. Mine looks exactly like a tracerline that they have on tooltopia. http://www.tooltopia.com/tracerline-tp8690.aspx. Matco charges way too much

After looking around, I'm really thinking this must be the OEM. Everything including the glasses are identical with the exception of the color of the light body. As usual the Matco markup seems to be huge. Now I'm debating if I should get the $35 Mastercool light or step up and pay $101 for this thing. It's not something I plan to use all that often. Maybe 2-3x a year.
