Hi all, I'm Tim from Folsom CA. I have been checking out the site here and I am amazed at all the information. My step-father passed a few years ago and left me a few old mechanic's tools. I myself have been an auto technician/mechanic/whatever-you-call-me for about three decades (God that sounds old!). I'm pretty much a regular guy with a wife, dog, mortgage, etc. I spend a lot of time in my garage at home. My next project is to address my garage floor, it's pretty shabby... Guess that's all for now,
Peace, Tim

Thanks all for the welcomes.

"So do you have a '70 454 SS? If so, please post pics. I can't read."

Sadly, no. My first car was a 1970 454 SS Chevelle, it had been in a wreck when it rear-ended another car and was then rear-ended on the Hollywood freeway in L.A. I paid $135.00 for it and drove it home. That was in 1978-79. I spent all my money and free time trying my hand at backyard body work on that car. In the end the trunk never closed right, but it drove great! So, these many years later I plan on gracing the hollows of my soon-to-be remodeled two car garage with another Chevelle. It will take time, but that is the plan.
