A problem with my Snap on ratcheting screwdriver soft handle

So I just received this baby from Snap on a couple of days ago. I tried to insert my 6-pc snap on ratcheting screwdriver blades one by one into this handle. Surprisingly, half of them can not be inserted because they do not fit. The shanks are just a hair too thick. I tried my Gearwrench screwdriver shank, it does not fit either. So I forced it into the handle. The problem is now my interchangable screwdriver handle has turned into a non-interchangeable screwdriver handle, because I could never pull the shank out, no matter how hard I tried :spit:

Is this called a perfect fit? :lol_hitti

Has anyone had the same problem before?

Clamp the Gearwrench blade in a vise, and tap the ratcheting handle off with a soft faced hammer. The gearwrench blades are chromed wheres, the snap on blades aren't. They tend to hang up more. You can also take some fine grit emery cloth and smooth out the male square drives that go into the handle a bit. A little Wd40 works well too. I've had the same problem with a couple of Snap on drivers. They loosened up once broken in.

I tested all my ratcheting screwdriver shafts and blades. They all work flawless with my Gearwrench or SK ratcheting handle.

So I was able to get off the shaft on a vise. I decided to try one of my Snap on blades instead. I put lots of super lube, and pushed it in. Now I am pretty sure that I will have to use the vise again to get it out. Oh my :spit:

Warranty it. And try your blades in another driver.

I have had a problem with the 1/4" drive shank (SGDMRC4-TM4 ) fitting into my handle.
