It's been a rough couple of years. I had to liquidate my machine shop when 75% of my customer base went under. Then I had a nasty dirt bike wreck that kept me out of work for three months. Had to sell my beautiful 2006 Ricky Carmichael replica RM250 to pay bills at that time. And now I just got laid off! Whew. I know I'm not the only one .... our economy sure is the pitts. But, I still have my little garage as a haven...even though all I have to work on right now is my wifes quad. OK I'm done whining ... Here's to better days:beer:

I hate to sound cliche

Sounds like your on tough times (believe me I've been to the absolute bottom)

Just keep in mind

Sure there are people farther ahead than you, but there are also people alot farther behind.

In the meantime, looks like a nice setup and quad.

btw I'm 36 and just got my first garage ever in August

Up you see better fortunes soon

Cheers

Will

Dig the fan set-up! Hmmm...next time a see a few cheap fans at the auction...

Keep your spirits up. Never know what's gonna happen. I was laid off earlier this year also...started planning all of the little cheap projects I was gonna get done in the shop...then a phone call from another firm two weeks later. Back to work!

Thanks, I feel better already. Those fans were 11 bucks a piece at target. I like them because you can put all 4 on low and move a bunch of air without blowing everything around, but if you need to evac some paint fumes you can do that too. Tom

Just some leftover box tube. 2" x .090 wall I think. The base pieces are 2x4 if I remember right but almost anything would work. I think 2" angle by maybe 1/8" would do the trick and that stuff is real cheap. And... don't think I'll be going back to two wheels, not on the dirt anyways. I put my family through hell and I don't want to do that again. Tom
