Hi all. I am looking for a somewhat small, sealed locker or cabinet that I can hang in the wall in my garage. I want to put an old pair of shoes in there, and an old hoodie so that I always have them on hand out there. And thus I'm far more likely to use them, sparing my good shoes and jacket which I wore out there. I'm in TX (not the panhandle) so a hoodie is all that is needed for my garage.

The reason it needs to be sealed in some way, is because of bugs. I don't want to be putting on my shoes and hoodie and have it be full of spiders and whatever else crawled in there. Preferably something not too awful expensive.

I just got a bank of lockers from a high-school. I sealed the end one because I keep my detailing cloths in it. I just welded a patch over the vents on the door used compression foam strips for the door (kinda like weather stripping). There is zero dust in there so I imagine spiders and scorpions and **** also wouldn't be able to get in there.

Seville classics they are available in Sam's Club you can Google the term and look at them online. They have stainless steel doors and they also are lockable

So you’re going to do a mr Rodgers every time you go to garage? If on the same property I’d keep them inside the house. They will start smelling

Now that's funny while at the same time questioning the reasonableness of this changing routine.

Dead mini fridge or wine storage unit works too....

Eweeeee!!!! You ever smell a dead fridge thats been closed for any amount of time. I don't care how well it was cleaned they all stink like rotting skunks.

OP Find a old wall locker add some self adhesive weather stripping and hot glue some window screen over the vents. Bug problem and oder problem solved.

Tried rubbermaid they sag at the lips and the spiders still get in. Most people probably don't think its weird to avoid ruining their good clothes. Maybe you guys dont have good clothes. :D

House isn't attached to the garage. Don't wanna run back and forth, just want to get to work when the friends come over.

Not the cheapest solution but I use a fire rated cabinet. Mine happens to be ~3ft wide and I sectioned it off so there's shelves going up one side and have a 2ft wide area with a center rod front to back to hang my welding and garage clothes on. I put this together maybe 8yrs ago and to date haven't had any creep crawles get me. They do make these in all kinds of sizes so maybe you might get lucky picking up on second hand.

Id go with a good quality rubbermaid tub that won't sag.

I prefer to live somewhere that has a yearly exterminator to make sure I don't have to worry about creepy crawlers.
