A start to sorting out my garage, a storage shed

Hey guys and gals,

Here's a little project I've been on for way too long, a 3 x3 (metre) garden shed to store my car parts so the cars can actually be worked on.

I started out with a patch of dirt where no grass wanted to grow, grabbing the shovel and levelling it out by hand.

I then layed 4 x4 metres worth of pavers using pallet wood for the edges, so its not perfect but hey its a rental.

A couple of mates came around and helped with the "barn raising" as they called it, we threw on beers and food in return. Note its a second hand shed and was missing one roof panel.

It looked a bit shabby so we added some garden beds including Australian native plants, a bit of horse poo and some sugar cane mulch. I also started building 2 ramps, one to the front doors and one to the back of the shed that was set up as outdoor storage.

Here's where its all at as of today, the front roof panel is made from polycarb sheeting (big mistake). Its just too darn floppy so i've started adding some bracing but it needs a lot more, plus its really hot inside so it will need insulating and ventilation before i can store the flammable items from the shed in there.

No worries 1/2 cup, here's some photo's of how it ended up inside. The dead fridge in the corner is now my paint storage. The extra storage was great until I bought another project car

Your fridge makes great storage for your paints an stuff.

I feel you pain in regards to space, I have a similar issue here.

What's the oldy Dave, I can't quite make it out??

The fridge has come in rather handy, although it doesn't hold a lot.

It doesn't help that I've got a Plymouth bodied Desoto on the other side of my double lock up, here's a couple of pics of it.

Its a 1930 Essex, the plan is a traditional styled hot rod, most likely channelled.

Here's my latest little project, built from 2 drawing desks and some other steel I had laying around. The welds are pretty bad as I used the stick welder (for the first time ) and it was thin wall tubing.
