There are times that we need to restore our tools and there are times to just leave them alone.
The hands that touched this wrench and used it years ago belonged to my wife's grandfather, a retired Newark, NJ Fireman who served the NFD back in the 1920's-30's. It was passed onto his son, my wife's dad, my father-in-law and my friend who passed away this past summer.
No amount of polishing could ever make it more beautiful then it already is.
This one I leave alone.
