i have a snapon 1/2 drive ratchet that i hate ... feels bad /uncomfortable in the hand
i think it is that "comfort grip" that it has on the handle
at work i used a coworkers matco flexhead ratchet instead of mine , boy i was impressed with feel of it and the sheer weight of the tool!!
i am thinking of getting one of these matco ratchets tomarrow , hell i may see if he will take the snapon in on trade....
i never thought i could not like an expensive brand name tool ....

What's the part number of that ratchet that you have such ill feelings about? I'm thinking such a shocking statement deserves specifics ...

My grandpa's snap on ratchet.

the ratcheting action is so stiff it will only ratchet with a lot of resistance on it.
and wrenches with thin, really thin beams, i cant get a good grip on them.

horror freight saftey wire pliers. Im so mad at myself for buying them. It was a impulse buy. I wish I had just gone ahead and not bought a set. They are garbage I bent them trying to close the jaws on a set of .032" safety wire. They feel like garbage. Half the time they barely work. I end up just doing it by hand. And the cutters are a joke. JUNK JUNK JUNK

There.... Dam n that tool. I want to pawn them off on a first quarter student. They are horrid

I picked up the Harbor Freight snap ring plier set a while back. I konw you get what you pay for but Dam. I'm no Hercules but I could literally bend the handles on even the biggest in one hand. They would squish before even coming close to removing a snap ring.

Knuckle busters. Any adjustable wrench regardless of make. The only reason mine haven't wound up at the bottom of the lake is because they were either gifts or belonged to my dad.

If you are breaking that many bits, then you are doing something wrong. I think the Craftsman bits are made by Vermont American.

Oh yeah, tools I hate. That socialist whacko in the White House. What a tool.

I never thought it was ever a good idea bringing politics into forums. Never goes good. :headscrat

I wouldn't say Im doing anything wrong. I just use them alot and I believe that they are made of cheap steel. They are the cheapest set Craftsman makes so I guess you get what you pay for.

Vise-Grips, new or old, basically a complete waste of money, time, and the thought of using the fking things.

If you have any send them to me for proper disposal.

Vise-Grip's have to be on the list of top tool inventions, they have more uses than just about any tool.

milwaukee hole hog- as a kid growing up (plumber's son age 12) drilling holes through the floor overhead that damn thing picked me up off the ladder and slammed into a stud after grabbing a nail. Had a few more run ins with that thing before I my old man quit making me use it. Lots of respect for that tool.

I like to try new tools, well one day I bought a tool that removes oil filters it is a square tube with a cotton strap attached to it. I am sure in the right hands of someone else it will work ok , but in my hands all it does is crush the oil filter cans...I tried everything to no avail, so in the end I gave them away.

I hate Craftsman brand locking pliers (Vise Grip style), because the release lever works backwards from the real Vise Grip brand. In fact, I hate ANY "vise grips" which lock that way. Instead of the lock-lever springing to a position away from the handle of the locking pliers at the moment of lockup (like Peterson brand Vice Grips), the Craftsman locking lever snaps tightly against the handle. I used to have a pair of these, and I have had too many blood blisters on my fingers to prove it. I gave my last pair away, but if I ever get another pair, I will throw them in the lake behind my house. NO JOKE!!

The new Snap on Ct561 cordless mini 3/8 drive impact wrench. A stubby 1/4 drive ratchet has more torque. I'm very disappointed in it. It's agreat idea on paper and in ads but, it *****.

the tool I hate the most would be our shop janitor, he's not worth a damn! how hard is it to empty out the trash cans. I always clean up after any truck I work on, got my lazy *** partner in the habbit of cleaning up aswell. but this guy damn! and to top things off he goes into other people's tool box and just borrows tools without asking, then you think you lost it or left it on/under a truck you waste time looking for it. then when he's done he comes by and tries to sneak it back into your box. if he gets caught he says 'oh i borrowed your _____" and it's all dirty! WTF!!!
he goes into the shop tool room and just takes stuff home, I needed the air rivet gun to finish my truck today and guess what it's not there. 1 item left on this truck to make the sale....and the shop can't sell it. that's a $230k sale. so Bryan Dhuman I HATE YOU!!!
