Got a bit more done on the CL350. I didn’t like the style of the one mirror, and I’m used to having 2 on a bike, so. And the bike had an obvious exhaust leak on the one, separate muffler. Ends up the gasket was totally missing. The bike is still noisy, but it is a lot quieter.

Good choice on your mirrors, they look correct, that other mirror belongs on a much newer bike!
Reminds me of the CB350 I had. I think the exhaust was the only difference between CL and CB

I gave my 750four to my Brother when I moved here, it was in perfect unrestored condition, not even a scratch on it.
He had a 750four sport that once he got my bike he took his apart and did the cafe racer thing too it. He never quite finished it but the bodywork looked good.

I do believe the name originated here in the UK in the fifties. Young lads tried to make their bikes look like racers with clip-on bars, rear set pegs and swept back pipes, and of course the race seat with the "bum stop". Then they raced from cafe to cafe.
Hipsters today use the name for something completely different and I don't have enough interest to find out what.

Got the winch and controller mounted on Dad’s trailer last night. Still have to do the battery mount, fix some wiring, and replace a tail light bulb. Can’t wait to get it back to him and have this one off the list. And of course, the pretty shot of the driveway. It looks more like Strouty’s after I finished plowing tonight.

I got him a Harbor Freight Badlands UTV winch rated at 2500lb. He scraps, and it'll help him load things like dead garden tractors, appliances,......etc.

I had to fix that one word.

I think the CL is starting to give me her name. I keep referring to her as a "little scoot". I'm thinking the name might just stick.

Two nights in a row with no shop time (plowing Thursday, grocery shopping last night) isn't good for getting for getting projects off the list. Guess I better get out there and finish the Old Man's trailer, get back to the She Shed, and work on getting the bench cleared.

Holy cow it doesn’t take long for FSD to rear its ugly head. Dad’s trailer was only in the shop about 6 days. And this is after I put 2 handfuls of tools away.

I did work on Momma’s She Shed yesterday. It was tougher work to get the truss from the opening over to the wall, than it was to lift it. Getting the one side on top of the header was a little tricky, but not terribly hard. When I started to lift the second side, the truss got a huge bow in it, and it started to snow at a decent clip, so I decided to call it a day on that project and head back into the shop.

But I was able to finish the battery tray/hold down and winch wiring last night. Still have to clean up the trailer wiring at the tongue and change a tail light bulb.

I've been picking away at for several weeks now, but only an hour or two a night. A concerted effort for me would still be several weeks.

FSD, the problem is real.

It's sad. During a meeting this morning, I cleaned off the lid to the parts washer. Anything that is remotely flat, say an open toolbox, becomes a collecting place.

I've been trying to train myself to put things away.... Generally works best to do this while talking to my brother, while he is putting things away in his shop.... Somehow, misery loves company... LOL

Listen here you young whipper snapper. LOL I've always wanted somthing that was quick and nimble. Back in the day it was a Honda VFR 750 or a Buell Cyclone. The 350 should make a fun toy to ride around on.

It was very nimble and fast. Traded it for my Valkyrie. Once I got rid of the Magna, my friends said I looked like a grasshopper on it. I didn’t care because the bike was awesome.

The oldest daughter came in the house yesterday afternoon and asked who was the last person to come home or leave. Seems someone decide to see if their vehicle could fly by using our ditch. He did manage to get the left tire air born for about 1 foot.
