A two car with a small loft.

Well, technically it's a four car, with a loft on one side and a second story on the other, but there are some massive marble topped tables along with some other random furniture/waste motor oil proceeding/general unwanted items storage, in that side at the moment so, let's just call it a two car and forget about that side for now as it's pretty full and will most likely stay that way for a while. :D

Here's an older picture that shows the set up pretty well.

(Sadly all of the Jetta's but the GLI on the end are gone)

And some crappy interior photos (attached below) of the "not" **** filled side to give a general overview of were I am at, at the moment. It's come a long way from where it started but it still has a good ways to go before I'm going to be happy with it.

I'll post up some more later, just wanted to get this thread off the ground.
I need to search around for some images of what it looked like when we first got it.

Currently the walls are covered in a relatively new layer of OSB. It got put up at the same time as the new siding, roof, and insulation about 5 or so years ago. Over that time I have really come to terms with the fact that I really dislike OSB.

So, I'm trying to decide how to cover it. I want something that is easily cleanable and fixable. As for when there is not a Jetta taking up permanent residence, there is a large amount of grinding and welding and more grinding that leaves a nice layer of grim, burns, and scraps on everything.

I was originally thinking of covering the walls in some 1/4 in drywall, but then I would have to mud, sand and paint the whole thing. And them the drywall really only solves the problem of covering the OSB and being fixable when I scratch/dent/burn it.

At the moment, I am leaning towards tiling the walls. However that's as far as I have gotten as I'm not sure if I want to go all the way up to the rafters. Drawing attention to a one pretty "great" insulation job. Or just go to the level of the conduit and then cover the remaining area with drywall.

I have been staring at a variety of subway wall pictures to get inspiration and going back and forth on rectangular vs. sq tiles. Blaw blaw blaw. All I really know is that most of them need to be white.

So the local Menard store's decided the victor of the battle between the square and rectangle tile by temporarily lowering the price of gloss white square 4.25 in tile to 9 cents a tile. Making it remarkably affordable and pushing the slightly sleep deprived and maybe more then a little intoxicated me to purchase a whooping 3900 tiles.

So the plan has moved forward a little more quickly then I had originally anticipated. Now to find a good sale on 1/4 in cement board...

The attached image shows a small test layout of 100 tiles, they will of course be on the wall but they stick better to the ground for temporary layouts.
