AA MagLite LED $9.88 at Home Depot

Dunno if its chainwide, but tonight at Home Depot they had three MagLite LED AA flashlights hanging from one of those clip displays. One of them said 3 watt, other two, three mode, 100%, 25%, and blink, but no mention of power. I found another half dozen of both kinds in other parts of the store, and bought one of the 3 mode. Seems brighter than my old stuff, no clue if its 3 watts bright, but I plan to take it with me to compare to some friends.

sounds like a good deal. i have ben waiting for the price to go down. i have several of the old double a's that will not die. i did use a night ize conversion in one but i must assume the mag version must be much better

My modded version of the mini-mag is a tad brighter & much more of a thrower than either Maglite or Nite-ize....

Mine is 200mW+
