Cool ride on Aaron.

I must go for a wander to masters, I only have ever had a quick look at the one near Canberra airport a couple of years ago.

Those myna birds and starlings drive me nuts as they hang around our chicken coop all the time.

Thanks for the update GB.

1/2 Cup,
You wouldn't believe it my wife and I just came back from Masters to get door hinges.
The previous owners painted over them which looked ugly.
Also got some more drill bits and lawn fertiliser.
Thanks for stopping in.

Grumblebum,
Thanks for stopping in.
The ride on is great.
My grandfather once said if you look after the magpies they will look after you.
They have done a great job keeping the Pest birds out.
Go to Masters and have a look. Just remember some items there are not as cheap as Bunnings.

With the long weekend here now :rocker: just wanted to do a few jobs.
Mow the lawns. Done.
Complete the planting and mulching in the garden. Done.
1/2 Cup I hope you like my edging.
I have a Atom edger. Mine is green the 2 stroke edger. Me at over 6 feet tall it didn't do my back any good so its retired. So I have a Honda 4 stroke straight shaft which is great for me.

Aaron, your garden looks a treat.

Consider your edging a 10+ they look great..

Using an Atom when you are over 6 ft would be hard work..

With Bathurst over I was happy to see Will Davison and Jonathon Webb HOLDEN win. But would be better if FORD won.
I decided to do some electrical work.
It took about 2 minutes to do.
Aldi had some solar lights on sale. Just needed a few for around my veranda.
The light isn't very bright but bright enough to see.

Great job on the vise. I like the colours too.   How did you do the white lettering?

As a fellow Ford man I too would have liked the Falcons to win at Bathurst (would have been especially good if it had been Fabian or Scotty), but I was happy for it to go to Will And Webby. Better than those whinging Red Bulls (and yet I follow RB and Daniel in the F1's..... :eyecrazy: :dunno: ).

Thanks Lyndon.
I also follow Daniel in the F1's maybe because he is a Aussie.
I thought Fabian could of won the race.
The lettering is a paint marker from Supercheap. It's what you use to paint the lettering on your car tyres.
It's on sale at the moment for about $10.
Make sure you get the texta not the brush.

Not much happening lately.
Last weekend my wife and kids went shopping. About a hour later my wife rang and told me she has just been T-boned.:shocking: Everybody is fine. The car which is replaceable might not be. The only photos I got is the below. The whole passenger side is smashed in.
Once again everybody is fine.
The other driver couldn't see any other cars so he took a chance and planted his foot and smashed into my wife's car.:dunno:

The other thing with this time of year is FLIES.
Nothing worse than having a BBQ and doing the Aussie wave ever 5 seconds.
This fly trap has been working well.:rocker:

Aaron, fly traps are great, but don't do as my dad does and puts it right at his back door and wonders why he still gets flies inside.:headscrat

Hope everything works out OK with your wife's car Aaron, and glad everybody's OK.

Any update on whether it's repairable or not? Doesn't look like it would be bad enough to write it off.

Yeah everybody is fine TwoBytes.
My daughter was in the front passenger side and she said the air bag was more scarier than the crash itself.

Don't know about the car as yet.
They were the only photos I got. The damage is the whole passenger side and the B pillar is pushed into the passenger seat.
We are more thankful that everybody is fine.
A car is replaceable.

Aaron , believe me you wont know yourself when you get them sorted. Its the best thing I have ever done around here.

Stick with it..

I second that. Used the same black and orange ones myself. Massive time saver now. You either have it or you are out - no more looking for an hour.

Good job.

Hi Aaron, I hope you have room here for another member. Your kitchen reno looks great. We're getting ready to do the same. It's the last room that will be redone.

Glad to hear that no one was hurt in the accident. Cars are replaceable, people not so much.

The fly trap kind of verifies the BBQ and the Aussie wave. That's a lot of flies in three days. Anyway, I'm infiltrating your thread as I have done to so many other member here. I hope you're okay with that. If not, well too bad...it is a public forum.:lol_hitti Just kidding, I won't go anywhere that I'm not welcomed.

dlcwent,
Stop in any time your most welcome.:)

We got a phone call on Friday and the car will be repaired. The damage cost is $28500.:eyecrazy::scared:
We will get it back at the end of January 2017. No parts available.
We are in no rush as we get a loan car until repaired.
Also its a family friend who owns the smash repair business doing the work for us.

Have a great day.

Wow mate, that's a lot of $s for the repairs!

Good thing it's all covered and you've got a loan car while you wait.

That's a lot of flies in that trap! I think I'll need to get one of those. I'm guessing it doesn't help with mozzies???
