Went to the Green box shed yesterday to get a few things. On my way out I grabbed on of these weather stations on clearance for $11.00. I needed a new one anyway.

Crazy weather today, was forecast heaps of rain and looked like it all day but barely a short drizzle.

Well it was extremely hot here on the weekend. The temperature got to 46 degrees on Friday and Saturday was no better.
I managed to dilute my Meguiars products down into the bottles I got from the big Green store. I used the super degreaser and it work great.
A couple of photos and also labeled them with the dilution ratios.

That's a great idea for putting the dilution ratios. Stealing that one.

I've got to +1 on the car camera. You are right about the amount of idiots on the roads nowadays. My biggest gripe is seeing people that are still texting and driving, knowing how dangerous it is. It's a total lack of caring for someone else's life.

It has been I think about 4 weeks and the lawn is starting to slow down. It has come along way and now cant wait for spring.

I was doing a job that needed me to see behind a corner in the house roof. So I went to the shed to get my teleskop mirror. I couldn't find it anywhere. So on to ebay and got my wife to order me a new one. I found this and also had the teleskop mafnetheber in a nice case.. So here it is.

Well the family wanted a pool for some time now. So I rang around a few places for quotes on a 7 metre long X 3.5 metre wide. Well after seeing how much it was going to cost we decided not to go with the pool. So we went with a spa which we can use all year round.

I am not a big pool fan, but your spa looks the good and should be far less costly to maintain..well done.

Aaron, finally worked my way through your thread. You Aussies are like Texan's you all congregate in the threads! Glad to read wife was ok in the wreck and that the car is back in business. Nice job on the kitchen remodel as well. A spa.... yep something these old bones need after every weekend.... adding it to my list....

I need to have you export some of those baby Magpies as my wife won't let me "scare" the blackbirds we have away with my shotgun! Keep on "detailing on!"

You will love the spa

We have had a Sundance spa for over 20 years. They are fairly trouble free too. There is so much more year round enjoyment from them that a pool. My grandson lives in ours when he stays the night or weekend with us. Just watch those water balance numbers and you will find maintenance is not a big thing. I am getting ready to change the water in mine, which I do quarterly, and set it up to use.
You will enjoy it!!

So I go to Green box store today to get a few things. On my way out I noticed Ryobi had a compact drill with to batteries for $79.00. I thought that was cheap and looked at the individual prices for the items the kit came with. They worked out to be about $180. So I grabbed a kit as so did a few other people and of to the register I go. Once at the register the young lady scanned the few items I had then scanned the Ryobi kit I had. It scanned at $179. I said the price on the kit says $79. She called a manager and the manager just authorised it and said they haven't changed the price yet. So quite a few people got a bargain today. On my way out I had a look to see if the price had been changed and guess what it was still $79.

I agree TDU. I already have a few Ryobi tools.

Yes the spa has worked out well. The wife and kids enjoy it. That's the main thing.

So far I've resisted. But I would like a medium duty drill or two for pre drilling etc etc instead of the heavy Makita one. Oh dear, did I just justify one ?

I like Ryobi tools myself. My dad let me use his Impact driver and drill combo kits when we built my 20x20 deck last spring and they were invaluable when it came time to screw down all the deck boards.
