Larry: welcome to our forum and sounds like you will be a great asset. do you have lots of pictures of the teardown and rebuild of your compressor that needs some parts or a fix? maybe you can start a thread with a bunch of pictures and find a few guys that can help.
I bet with a few spare parts some of these guys can build a UFO and maybe have and maybe you are another one.
good luck and ask questions if you need help i check this thread fairly often to welcome the new guys now. a few old members helped me figure things out when i first joined. i like old tools and i think my vice for vises has grown quite a bit since joining this forum so feel free to PM (private message is GJ's form of emails for just members) me if you have any tool questions.
just a word of warning that your tool inventory will grow substantially if you stick around this forum very long, but you'll know how to use more of them so you'll need them.
