I would like to get a 4 post lift like the Backyard Buddy. Was wondering with my Dad's 05 Vette and would like to get a Porsche 996 GT2 would it clear a 10' ceiling?

I've done this with my BYB and have one suggestion: put a piece of plywood under the top car to prevent leaks from damaging the car underneath.

You're talking about two cars that are pretty low, so it should work. However, you need to look at the lift specifications to be sure. Besides the heights of the two cars you also need to include the height of the lifting platform (which is probably somewhere between 4 and 6 inches), plus the heights of the lift detents, plus the fact the lift has to be able to go a few inches higher than the detent and then the stops are lowered down onto the detent. It's possible to have a situation where the detents aren't at the elevation you need.

The advantage lifts website has the following formula for stacking.
Formula for Double Stacking
The measurements provided are for example only. Car height will vary.

Height of Car A - 50"
Plus
Height of Car B - 50"
Plus
Ramp Thickness - 4.5"
Plus
Clearance (4" Minimum)
Ceiling Height Required - 108"

I put a drip pan under the top car to prevent any drips.

Don't forget that "ceiling height" means floor to open garage door height, if your stacked cars are going to sit under your garage door when it is open. This means at the very least, you'll probably need high lift garage door tracks and maybe a jackshaft electric garage door opener to get necessary clearance.
