Where the heck can I rent a socket fusion tool? Buying one would be ridiculously expensive for a couple of 3/4" joints. Just going to feed a furnace in my detached shop. Hate to go with a compression fitting from Lowes for underground connections.

Have no idea about renting the tool, but your post sent me off learning about socket fusion so thanks for the education!
