While i was researching nail guns I ran across a Paslode SK312 on ebay for $19.
I couldn't resist. For those who are not tools nerds, this is the nailer that made pneumatic framing a reality.
Of course I was not counting on it and at the same time I bought a refurbished Hitachi NR90AE which is the tool i plan to use but the paslode seems to work.
I put a single nail in the slot and it buried it with authority.
Before I spend $35 on a box of nails I would love to hear from people who have used this tool.
Does it like one nail better than another? I was thinking I'd keep for short nails and use the hitachi for framing, but again, every box of nails is a $35 experiment.
