I got a Innova 3150b that can read ABS code but unfortunately it can't read the Toyota ABS code, would like to know if anyone has one that can scan a Toyota sienna 98 ABS fault

Launch CRP 123 / 124 / 129 can all do it with no problems. We used to have those at work and Toyota is probably our # 1` line. Right now we are using the Maxicheck from Autel.

This is a brand I had not heard of !

I like the idea that you can pick a brand and get lifetime free software updates (as long as they really DO update the software; web site states they support 2014/2015 model year ... Hmmm) I also like that it can do live data AND bi-directional testing.

The small size screen is ridiculous ! The cost of tablets is ridiculously cheap now (new Amazon Fire HD 10 is $150 when it starts shipping next month). Any company still making a device with its own screen and WAY behind the curve and will never be able to keep up. Between Buetooth, WiFi and USB 3, you can quickly and easily pretty much connect anything to anything.

Bosch seems to want to be a "player" in the market. They now own Actron and OTC (at least the scanners) and likely others. The best scanners are still out of the price range of a shade tree guy like myself.

Edit : The Foxwell NT510 DOES look a lot like the Bosch OBD 1350. Color and shape is a bit different, but the size and buttons names appear identical.

I don’t think the updates are free for life but they do update regularly (I own one with bmw and Toyota software)

When I researched scanners, I learned that all of the lower priced (vs. pro) models lag 2 to 4 years behind in updates. Bosch/Actron/OTC was the worst, stopping at 2013.

I bought the Autel Diaglink for $87 this spring. Like the Foxwell, you add the brands you desire at $10 each. The Diaglink scans ALL systems (******, etc.), but does not have bidirectional capacity of the Foxwell.

Yeah, the foxwell is cool when you start digging into control units...you have the ability to test functions like windows, lights, cooling fans and tpms. On bmw it’s handy because you can code modules and relearn parameters of actuators (valvetronic) and register new batteries.
