the older ones that i have are pretty beefy, but i would compare them to the modern day hf/overseas craftsman/ stanley. mine are coarse toothed dunno if they have upped the ante lately. they have a pretty thick head to get in tight spots also
These are marked "Taiwan" dunno if that makes any difference. Could be HF ****. Just wanted to check because I am not familiar with AC Delco. Bought a 1/2" and a 3/8" Taiwan - seems to have a good tooth count - haven't taken it apart but smoother than some of my other stuff.
I think mine are taiwan also have to check. can you post a picture?
mine is similiar to what this looks like but the underside isnt indented with a snap ring like the newer hf or other tawaian it has flush cover with the snap ring with no eyelet ends(dont know if im using the right terminology here)
why not keep em i mean how much could you get for them anyway? there fine for what they are i opened mine last week and oiled it made it super quiet and the reverser is not as jumpy now. I bought my set in a large rolling cabinet at walmart about 10 years ago right out of high school so i have most of the set still and i never have broken anything yet...now im just replacing with better quality slowly as i go
actually if you look at this pic on the left side is my 1/2 and 3/8 are these the era that yours look like?
