Ok so I ordered on 2/14 and received today 3/5 via Saia Freight. Not exactly lightning fast but then again I wasn't in a hurry.

Appears to have shipped from MDS in TN

There's been some discussion of packaging in this thread; I'd say this is less than stellar though it does appear that - by some small miracle - the handle is still there.

If you'd ask me to place bets on a freight carrier or UPS/FedEx, I would bet the freight carriers would deliver it intact 90% of the times and UPS/FedEx would deliver it opened and damaged 90% of the times. I guess I was dead wrong this time.

It looks like Ign's has some masonite inside sections of the cardboard box, then the box was stapled and strapped and put on the pallet. That seems reasonable to me. It seems like prying hands had their way with your jack...not sure anything would have held up in that case.

I haven't opened mine yet, but it went FedEx ground from Pelican Parts in CA and arrived in NJ on Friday. A little hole on one corner of the box (nothing to be concerned about), but otherwise it arrived in good shape, moreso considering it was a 100lb box.

But for the Grace of God did my saddle stay in and not fall between the cracks ...

and yeah I dunno if it's Masonite but it's kinda hilarious 'cause it's only about 100 thou thick but incredibly flexy. I guess it could arguably prevent the contents from PUNCHING THROUGH the box but it adds zero RIGIDITY like a more conventional crate.

Anyway, I'm not complaining, it got here and I understand true crating might really push the price up

I dunno if that strap caused this but these are the kinds of things questionable packing causes, too.

I don't care 'cause I'm gonna USE IT but some GJ members (and particularly the import crowd that has to buy parts from places like Pelican and Zelenda) would absolutely lose their **** over this. (I know, I used to be on the Quattro list)

Again, I'm satisfied - everything is there and the jack goes up and down ;)

Once it comes in I'll post up if it can in fact lift the entire front from the axle tube. By all rights it shouldn't be expected to...

Follow up, the DK20HLQ did in fact lift the entire front of my:
2011 F350 4x4 CCLB/6.2/6R140/4.30

Again, from regular scrap runs I know it's ~8100 curb weight as it sits.

It was best to keep the handle between 45 and parallel to the ground, and I needed to put most of my 165# on the handle. I found it easiest to drop mostly to my knees with my arms almost locked, then stand back up and repeat. The nice large plastic handle actually makes this quite comfortable, kinda like narrow handlebars.

I took it to max height and the jack never creaked or noticeably complained. Once finished it rolled out perfectly smooth as if nothing ever happened -- point being it didn't physically tweak it in any way that I can detect (I realize this isn't surprising as we'd probably all expect hydraulic failure or blow-off first)

Anyway a couple shots and a shot of the truck overall so you have an idea

Thanks for sharing! Now that you've tasted the coo-laid there is no turning back :) These are absolutely awesome jacks, I never regret it making the purchase over 15 or so years ago.

As far as packing, I bought a HW jack a few yrs ago and it arrived as basically the jack with a label on it. The handle was lost. The plastic vent cap? was broken off. The AC jacks are 50x better packed

I finally unpacked my DK13 tonight. As long as the outer packaging remains intact, everything inside is snug...except for the metal saddle bouncing around. It can’t do any substantial damage though. My jack was unscathed, which is good because I got some of them imports Ign is talkin about (including a Quattro that always needs fixing)! :)
