Update:
Called local heating and cooling dealer. They have provided all the heating, cooling and ductwork in the new house we are building. I gave the specs for the cap, the gal verifies with carrier and got it in the afternoon. My wife has been great and really tried to be helpful yet very worried about the cap replacement. She went to pick it up and verified the specs and the guy asked her if she needed any help. She told him we are going to disconnect the power at the unit, take side off, discharge the cap, and replace wire by wire to the new cap. He told her to go and rock it out!
I came home and did as my wife told me

and then did it all in reverse. Wife went in and started the system up and SUCCESS!
Again, I want to thank everyone that provided awesome information and the appropriate safety information. I still have the appointment with the service company in 10 days. We will see how she runs and decide if we need them to come.
To anyone that is handy and has performed some wiring jobs, this is a task that you can tackle. There are so many videos,on YouTube about ac caps so watch those and you will be golden. Just make sure you have a handy wife to help!
