AC PRO Mini Split Help Needed

I was recently given a condenser from an AC PRO Mini Split system and now I am seeking advice on what to do with this thing.

My plan is to use it my garage, but since its missing the air handler/cassette, including the line set, I am not sure if this is any wiser than going with a complete (pre-charged) system from the get go.

After learning the above AH goes for around $400 alone, I am starting to reevaluate this idea.

I keep reading that AC PRO is a re-badged Gree...could I possible use a Gree AH instead? How about mixing and matching other brands of air handlers in order to complete this system?

Most of the decent mini-split manufacturers precharge their condenser units with refrigerant and calculate 25-45 feet of line set use.
The evaporator units (wall mounted, in the duct, ceiling cassette, etc) are dry aired packed (plugs to seal the suction and liquid line) and thus don't have any refrigerant in them.

You will need to decide on what combination of evaporators or just one that will use the cooling tonnage of your condenser.
Can you mix and match? As long as the evaporator unit(s) are designed for the refrigerant you have in the condenser unit and you don't exceed the cooling tonnage.
The electrical connections are two hots at 110V AC, a cooling signal, and a ground which mini-split manufacturers standardize upon.

You need to compare the added cost, supplies, and labor versus that of getting a Mr. Cool system.

First were the valves closed where the lines connect? The allen under the caps would be screwed in. Were the flare connections tape up? With complete model and serial number call the distributor to see if they have matching indoor unit and remote control. If you go with this system and it doesn't work indoor units might not be compatible with newer units.

I've learned that this is a multi-zone condenser and it must have two air handlers attached to it. So it's not going to be useful in a two car garage.
