AC question

I have a small 3 bay garage, wood walls with metal ext siding.

This is a rental, 2 bays are insulated and seperate from the 3rd bay, it's much cooler in those two bays. But it could be cooler.

I have an old window AC unit, rather than cut a hole in an exterior wall, could I cut a hole thru interior wall to third bay, and just run a drain outside?

Would that work, seems like it would to me.

Yep - but your gonna roast that 3rd bay with the heat exhaust out of the AC unit.

Also, the heat buildup in the 3rd bay will result in the window unit not having as much capacity, and it will also use more energy.
