butting and nailing. i was lazy and left it rough and unfinished as well. I figured my drink shelf(7") would keep any far enough away from the wood.

Man...all these walls look killer! I want to do something similar with barn wood planks. But now I like the pallet idea too!!

Where'd you get the pallets from?

I got mine on craigslist. 225 of them for $150 plus a uhaul to get them home.
I got lucky they were from germany made from an all white wood and treated
for insects
