Accessible Higher Shelving For More Storage In The Garage
One of our fellow GJ members posted his higher shelving build for his garage and it reminded me of another shelving option I wanted to share. The shelving idea where the lower shelves actually glide out so you can step to reach top shelved items. Then they slide back to the wall. This is not my idea, however I think it is a really good one. Eventually I plan to build a shelving system like this but here it is. Has anyone built something similar before? What would you or did you use for the lower shelving slides since it has to support a man's weight? Cabinet drawer slides only go up to 100 pounds per pair so not sure what to use.
