Isn't there anything better than this from Zircon, Bosch? Not interested in a junk brand like Black and Decker

This is what I have access to, and its inaccurate.

Maybe one of these two will chime in -

rt_dak, how do you like the gms 120?
I am a little frustrated with the results but I might expect to much.

Oh and you got a nice collection there.

You may want to have a look at a

Zircons are garbage. I've tried almost all of them over the last 10-15 years and haven't found one that I could rely on to even be somewhat accurate. I bought the Franklin proscan and love it. It really works good. Just used it on a building that was plaster and it found all the studs. It's the first stud finder I didn't want to smash with my hammer.

I only have a Zircon i700 and it seems to work fine. I think I bought it in one of the big box stores.

I have the Franklin and I am very happy with it. There customer service was very helpful when I had a problem with the sensor.

Out of curiosity what problem did you have with it? The only issue I've had with mine was on a hot day sitting in the toolbox the glue holding the foam loosened up let the bottom plate move but it went back together.

I was getting an inaccurate reading, after a few years of problem free use. I contacted them and even though it was out of warranty they replaced it for me no problem.
