I saw this in the "Coupon Codes" thread, but I feel like it is a very good deal and deserves a thread of it's own. Thanks Davefr for the info!

ACE Hardware:
- 40% discount on any one item but capped at max. of $16 discount (appears to be B&M only)
- Must present coupon and Ace Rewards card
- Code 80036159
- Coupon can be printed here: (http://twc123.com/ace/mailer_images/surf.jpg)
- Valid 2/25 - 3/3

I bought a pair of Channellock 460's, ended up being $17 with tax.

My local ace wouldn't accept the coupon. They said they're not part of the ace rewards program.

Tried to use it at lowes and they said it had to be for a specific item. I'm either unlucky or live in the wrong area.

Used this coupon today

Cashier couldnt get it to scan so she entered it manually. Ended up taking 40% off everything plus I had a $5 rewards coupon. $29.19 for Channellock snap ring pliers, dikes and wire stripper.

Thank you very much!

Hey, thanks for starting this thread, I printed off the coupon, verified at the local Ace store that they would honor the 40%-off coupon (with all the exceptions and exclusions, of course - lol) and browsed in their newly expanded tool department to find something I just couldn't live without. I found their 3/8" drive Craftsman 18 piece set of SAE/Metric deep well sockets hanging on the rack for $44.95 (MDL # 34558). After the coupon + sales tax, I was out the door for $29.26! I'm a happy camper, for my DIY mechanic's needs, a 'MADE IN THE U.S.A.' LIFETIME WARRANTY set of deep well sockets for under $30.00 made my day!

Used this at ACE today. Thank for the heads up OP. Also now that I joined the rewards program I can earn some money for ACE as I purchase about 1200 a year in wood pellets from them. They would not take it off the purchase of a ton of pellets as they are considered discounted from the bag price when purchasing a ton. I did pickup a craftsman made in the USA metric T Handle allen set for 26 and change. Was over 40 so I'm happy!

Used it yesterday. Bought a craftsman 15/15 x 13/16 deep offset made in USA! Thanks!

Local Ace store accepted it without question even though I am not in their Ace rewards program. Picked up a Craftman (made in USA) 4 piece plier set for my son. Wouldn't have bought them without the discount. Thanks to OP.

I used the coupon on a $39.97 stud finder at HD, with $15.99 taken off the price for a total of $23.98 +tax.

Thanks OP!

You might not earn any points on those pellets. There are restrictions on the program. Lumber for example is not included. Not sure about the pellets though it wouldn't surprise me to see them excluded.

The coupon worked at my local ACE, got some money off the 18mm gearwrench flex wrench I wanted to add to my set.

Also found a new 3 drawer steel craftsman toolbox on the 50% off clearance table, with a $35 price tag on in, at $17.50 I couldn't pass it up.

Then the cashier insisted on using the $10off coupon that printed with the 40% off one. I told her that one was expired, but she put it through anyhow. So all in all a very inexpensive trip to Ace today.
